I started on my independent journey with Voices of Mackellar and then Mackellar Rising where I got to see how quickly the momentum was for an independent candidate for Mackellar.
I decided to throw myself into campaigning for Sophie by running the office, merchandise and corflute distribution.
The day Sophie won was probably one of the best days of my life! A lot of people thought we couldn’t do it and with amazing ‘people power’ we proved them wrong.
I now work for Sophie as a Constituent Liaison Officer as well as supporting her in the Canberra Office.
