My name is Jess and I am part of the youth team for Dr Sophie. I have a strong passion for advocating for young people and making sure we are part of the conversations affecting our future. I am currently studying a Media and Communications degree majoring in PR and Social Media and have already gained so much experience helping to grow the social media reach to young people on the Northern Beaches.

Dr Sophie has created a space where young people can feel heard and supported in their community which is a great space to be a part of. My goals working with the Mackellar team is to help inform and educate other young people on what is affecting them and what is going to affect them, as well as representing our voices in an important space. I am motivated by the positive changes Dr Sophie has brought to Mackellor and her commitment to doing what benefits people of all ages in our community.
