I was inspired to volunteer for Dr Sophie Scamps after attending her initial campaign launch at Avalon beach.
I continue to be inspired to volunteer for her because I see how hard Dr Sophie consistently works on behalf of residents of the Mackellar electorate.

From a political perspective, it is truly refreshing to have a member of federal parliament who is not locked into the policies of any particular party but who is working for the constituents of her electorate and the values that are important to many.
This is just so historically unique as Dr Sophie is part of a broader independent political movement supported by the community and working for the community.

This why I do as much as possible as a volunteer for Dr Sophie because of the truly progressive and inspirational work she is doing on a daily basis.
