I welcome your ideas and input to this critical issue affecting our community. The policy ideas from these submissions will be collated by my staff and presented at our People’s Jury on Housing on 15th June. The People’s Jury is a randomly selected, representative sample of 30 Mackellar residents.
The problem:
Mackellar has some of the most expensive housing in Sydney - and the world. Our young people and essential workers find it harder to live here, businesses struggle to get workers and older residents find it hard to downsize. Vulnerable people have even fewer options.
The federal government has a leadership role to play in housing policy.
The question:
