The first Independent MP for Mackellar Dr Sophie Scamps was sworn into Parliament yesterday.
Dr Scamps won the federal seat of Mackellar in the election on 21 May, defeating Liberal MP Jason Falinski as part of the ‘teal wave’ that swept many moderate Liberals from office.
